We begin with an early pick-up from your accommodation in Cusco, departing at approximately 4:30 a.m. Our journey heads towards Limatambo, where we stop for breakfast before taking a detour to the small village of Qoyllor. From this point, our adventure begins as we ascend through the Waywakunka Pass, marking the start of the trek.
Along the way, we reach the stunning Salkantay viewpoint and continue toward the serene Inkachiriasqa Lagoon, where we take part in a traditional ritual to honor Pachamama (Mother Earth). Here, you will have time to take photographs or dip your feet in the refreshing waters, if you wish.
We then descend to Salkantaypampa, where we will spend the night. On the following day, we visited the beautiful Humantay Lagoon before returning to Cusco, concluding this unforgettable experience.

Day 1: Cusco - Qoyllur Lagoon - Inkachiriasqa Lagoon - Salkantaypampa
We pick you up from your hotel and transfer by private transport to Limatambo, where we stop for breakfast. We then continue our journey until we reach the Qoyllor community, home to the first lagoon on the route. The trek continues to the Salkantay viewpoint, followed by a visit to the stunning Inkachiriasqa Lagoon.
From there, we begin our descent to our campsite in Salkantaypampa, where a well-deserved lunch and rest await. We will spend the night surrounded by the beauty of the Andes.
Day 2: Salkantaypampa - Humantay Lagoon - Cusco
After breakfast, we head to the beautiful Humantay Lagoon, where we spend a little time in the breathtaking scenery. We then begin our descent to meet our transport for the return journey to Cusco.

Around 4:00 a.m., we begin with the pick-up from your hotel (only for accommodations located within the historic center of Cusco; if you are staying farther away, please coordinate in advance). We depart by private transport towards Limatambo, where we make a stop to enjoy a nourishing breakfast. You will also have time to use the restrooms before continuing our journey to our first stop: the community of Qoyllor, home to the first lagoon of the day.
We’ll spend a few moments here taking photos and admiring the breathtaking landscapes before heading toward the Waywakunka Pass, located at approximately (… masl). From this point, our trek begins—an invigorating 2-hour walk through Andean highlands until we reach the spectacular Salkantay viewpoint, from where we can admire the majestic snow-capped peak that shares its name.
After another 30-minute walk, we arrive at the stunning Inkachiriasqa Lagoon. Here, you’ll have time to take photos, participate in a traditional offering to Pachamama (Mother Earth), and pay respect to the sacred Apus (mountain spirits).
Following this extraordinary experience, we begin our descent to our campsite in Salkantaypampa, where our chef will be waiting with a delicious lunch (vegetarian and vegan options are available upon request or according to dietary needs). This magnificent location is ideal for rest and contemplation amid the splendor of the Andes.
As night falls, we enjoy a hearty dinner and settle into our glamping tents for a peaceful night under the stars.

Day 2: Salkantaypampa - Humantay Lagoon - Cusco
We gently wake you with a warm cup of coca tea, followed by time to prepare for the descent. Around 8:00 a.m., a delicious breakfast is served to help you regain energy before beginning a scenic hike of approximately one hour to the breathtaking Humantay Lagoon, located at an impressive 5,473 meters above sea level.
We spend around 30 to 40 minutes at the lagoon, allowing time to enjoy the views, take photographs, and absorb the serene atmosphere. We then begin our descent toward Soraypampa, a base point reached after approximately two hours of walking.
From Soraypampa, our private transport will take us to the town of Mollepata, where we pause for a well-deserved lunch in a peaceful setting. Afterward, we begin our return journey to Cusco, with estimated arrival between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
