Details
Day 1Cusco Arrival & City tour Cusco
After we pick you up from the airport, you will be transferred to your Cusco hotel (OR we will pick you up from your hotel if you are already in Cusco). Enjoy the morning at your leisure before beginning your 4 hour city tour at 1:30pm. First, we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, located on the Main square (Plaza de Armas). Then our tour will continue to Qorikancha (The Temple of the Sun) and the Convent of Santo Domingo as well as to several of the city’s impressive archaeological places such as Saqsaywaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. We will return back to the city in the evening, dropping you off in the main square or your hotel.

Day 2 Sacred Valley of the Incas
We will have breakfast and departe to the Sacred Valley of the Incas at 8:30am, where you will see the little town of P’isaq including its local market with handcrafted goods and plaza. We continue our journey along the side of the Vilcanota River to Urubamba where you will have a buffet lunch. Then we travel to Ollantaytambo to the Inca archaeological remains. Next we will get back back to Cusco by Chincheros, another tourist centre and colonial town, to visit the church and the principal square. Finilly we return to Cusco at the end of the day and you will spend the night in your hotel
Day 3Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu Town.
After an early breakfast we will drive to Ollantaytambo to board our train to Aguas Calientes. You will have free time to spend the day as you would like resting in your hotel, relaxing in the local hot springs, hiking the small trails around the town, or exploring the many restaurants and shops that offer in Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu town.
Day 4Machu Picchu - Cusco
After an early breakfast we will begin our 1 hour ascent to Machu Picchu on foot or by bus (passengers’ choice). You will meet your guide at the entrance to start your 2 hour guided tour and afterwards you will have free time to explore by yourself or if you book for Huayna Picchu o Old Mountain(if it’s available). Later in the afternoon, after lunch, we will board a train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo and return to Cusco by bus.
Note: There is possibility to spend one more night in Machu Picchu town paying USD 30.00 extra, and return next day(if you want to climb Huayna picchu or Mountain Machu Picchu is an additonal USD 30.00 per person).
Day 5END OF TOUR
You can enjoy breakfast at your hotel before a driver transports you to the airport for your departing flight or bus station as you head to your next destination.

What is Machu Picchu?
Machu Picchu is an archeological center that preserves the remains of an Inca city, built in a green environment of mountains and rivers, a mystical and mysterious place; in addition, it is a patrimony of humanity and one of the most desired destinations in the world.
It is located at 2,400 m. a. s. l. in a cloud forest between the Andes Mountains and the Amazon rainforest of Peru.
When to go to Machu Picchu?
It is possible to go all the year, the minimum temperatures vary between 8 ºC and the maximum around 20 ºC.
There are 2 seasons in Machu Picchu: the dry season and the rainy season. The first one takes place between April and October, it is characterized by little rain and a sunny climate. The rainy season runs from November to March and is characterized by constant rains.
How much luggage can I take on the train?
On trains to Machu Picchu you can only take hand luggage that should not exceed 5 kilos (11 pounds).
Can Machu Picchu be visited by people of any age?
Yes, it can be visited by people of all ages. However, in order to ascend Huayna Picchu mountain, it can only be visited by people older than 12 years old.
From what time can I enter Machu Picchu?
Public access is from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
